Hoosier students with proven pro-life involvement who are pursuing a college degree are eligible for the Thomas Marzen Memorial Scholarship. Selected student leaders will be provided up to $1,000 per year.
Marzen, who passed away in 2007, was referred to as a “walking encyclopedia of the pro-life movement” by his colleagues. Active for over three decades as a pro-life attorney, Marzen authored many appellate briefs in major cases and law review articles on pro-life issues, and one was cited by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Applicants must submit a cover letter of no more than 500 words describing why this issue is important to them, along with a brief outline of their pro-life activities and involvement along with three references.
Applications are due by June 1.
