Riverside hosts Culver
PLYMOUTH — Riverside’s 5th grade boys hosted Culver on Monday night and came away with a pair of victories.
In the “A” game, although coming out a little sluggish on offense, the defense was on point. The boys really hit their stride in the second quarter and saw it ride until the end of the game winning 42-4. Lance Edison and Bryce Busse each scored 11 points, with Aiden Sampson chipping in 10. Bryce Busse and O’Malley Holm earned Defensive MVP’s for the game.
In the “B” game, the boys jumped out to a quick lead which resulted in winning 14-4. Issak Hutchinson and Cruz Rosas led the way with 4 points each. Defensive MVP’s for the game were Noah Ambrose and Cruz Rosas.
Both teams are now at 2-0 for the year.
