America Recycles Day 2018Governor Eric J. Holcomb issued a Proclamation declaring Nov. 15 America Recycles Day. In partnership with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), the Proclamation recognizes the 22nd America Recycles Day, which is a nationally recognized day for businesses, government agencies and individuals to consider the importance of recycling and to commit to reducing waste, making recycling an everyday habit, and considering recycled products when making purchases.

To celebrate, IDEM Commissioner Bruno Pigott and Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) Commissioner Lesley Crane announced new and improved recycling opportunities throughout the Indiana Government Center campus in Indianapolis. Updates include new waste stations for recycling and trash, along with new signs and sorting guidelines to make recycling easier.
