Busy week for LJH
PLYMOUTH – The Lincoln Jr. High cross country team had three meets this past week.
On Monday, LJH traveled to Warsaw to face Lakeview and Bremen. The girls and boys edged out wins against both. The team had a total of 14 PR’s (personal records) that night. Scoring for LJH girls was Brooke Edison (12:37), Sophie Wray (13:02), Vivy Miller (13:15 PR), Bella Walters (14:05), and Reid Seddelmeyer (14:06). Scoring for LJH boys was Coby Walters (11:21), Mason Bales (12:00), Luca Giordano (12:34), Joseph Stauffer (12:47), and Jaxson Warner (12:56).
Wednesday LJH traveled to Wawasee. The girls won, while the boys lost. Scoring for LJH was Brooke Edison (12:39), Sophie Wray (12:57), Vivy Miller (13:27), Bella Walters (13:49), and Lauren Gurtner (13:59, PR). Scoring for the boys team was Coby Walters (11:27), Mason Bales (11:47), Luca Giordano (12:09), Coen Kraemer (13:05), and Calvin Montgomery (13:13).
Thursday LJH had a home meet against Tippecanoe Valley. Both the boys and girls had commanding victories. The boys earned a perfect score and the girls were one place away from earning a perfect score. Scoring for LJH girls was Brooke Edison (12:05 PR), Sophie Wray (12:28), Vivy Miller (13:12 PR), Bella Walters (13:34 PR), and Lauren Gurtner (13:37 PR).
Scoring for LJH boys were Coby Walters (10:53 PR), Mason Bales (11:33), Luca Giordano (12:14), Joseph Stauffer (12:28),and Jaxson Warner (12:29).
This week, LJH is back in action on Tuesday (home vs Edgewood), Wednesday (Away vs. Knox), and Saturday (at CMA Invite).
