Marshall County Emergency Management director Clyde Avery said he received notice from Roger Ecker, LaPaz Town President of the opening of a Cooling Center.
Citizens of LaPaz can go to the will Corner Stone Church, the old Lions building, located at 216 Washington Street if they need a location to get out of the extreme heat we will have today and Saturday.
Bremen Community Hospital will be open to serve as a cooling center. Hours of operation will be 24 hrs. a day beginning today through tomorrow. The hospital is located at 1020 High Road in Bremen.
