06/17/11 David R. Holmes, Marshall County Prosecuting Attorney, announced Thursday that he has filed notice of his intention to serve in his position full time effective January 1, 2012.
Holmes stated that he had already closed his private practice law office at 519 North Walnut Street in Plymouth and would be closing his Bremen office by the end of the year.
David was appointed to serve the balance of the term when Curt Palmer was appointed Marshall County Circuit Court Judge. In November 2010 he was elected to a full 4-year term at the county’s prosecutor.
Holmes previously served as Prosecuting Attorney for the County from 1971 to 1982.
