WRM_JigJamWild Rose Moon will be hosting JigJam on Sunday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m. JigJam is a unique quartet originating from Ireland with a passion for Americana and Bluegrass tunes. Their creative combination of traditional Irish music, Bluegrass, and Americana is known as the genre I-Grass, a new and diverse class of music. Jamie McKeogh, Cathal Guinan, Daithi Melia, and Gavin Strappe are the respective band members that make up the “innovative” quartet. FolkWords also said they are “an unadulterated display of accomplished musicianship, skill, and talent.”

Appearing to sell-out crowds across the country, JigJam raises the bar with their two acclaimed studio albums (OH BOY! 2014 and HELLO WORLD 2016) and their live album (LIVE IN TULLAMORE 2017). As a group, they achieved an astounding 20+ All-Ireland titles at the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann competitions. All artists of the band are capable of performing with an array of instruments, including the banjo, fiddle, guitar, double bass, and mandolin. MidWest Records said “Here’s an Irish band that’s going to impact the world as hard as the Clancy Brothers or U2…”, adding to the list of attributes the band holds. The band will appear on The Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour, Monday morning, April 8th, at 11 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased at ASK for Flowers in Historic Downtown Plymouth, or online at wildrosemoon.com, or you can buy them at the door at the Wild Rose Moon Performing Arts Center.
