Monday evening about 7:45 Plymouth Police Officers were dispatch to the area of Gilmore and Dickson Streets for a reported hit and run accident.
Central Dispatch said the vehicle that was hit was following the suspect vehicle.
City Officer Matt Emenhiser made contact with both vehicles near the area of Nutmeg and 11B Roads. It was discovered that 35 year old Michael W. Goebel of Poplar Street in Plymouth was driving the suspect vehicle while intoxicated.
Goebel was transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with the crime of OWI with a prior and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
