The Bourbon Town Council ended the year with a short meeting lasting only a half hour. Board President Les McFarland was absent from the meeting due to a work conflict.
Board members Larry Wattenberger and P.J. Hanley approved contracting with Umbaugh and Associates to perform a water and sewer rate study. Steve Stacy, Waste Water Superintendent, had informed the board in previous meetings that there could be needed repairs and upgrade in the future. No decisions as to a rate increase have been made pending the results of the study. The cost of the study as approved is not to exceed $7,500.
