05-05-11 The Wythougan Toastmaster is pleased to announce that club member Annika Piazza brought home the title of third place at the District Evaluation Contest this past weekend. The annual Toastmaster competition took place on April 29th during the Toastmasters District 11 Spring Conference at the Holiday Inn North at the Pyramids in Indianapolis.
In addition to the skills necessary for Annika to acquire placement in the district competition for her evaluation presentation, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills for the club including her attempts to start up a new club at a new time and location. This new club meets on Wednesdays at noon at the Plymouth Public Library. Annika also spearheaded the fifth year anniversary event for the Wythougan Toastmasters club.
