Plymouth Color Logo2014The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. in the conference room of the Fire House.

During the Board of Public Works and Safety, Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will present a change order for the Richter Road Project and City Engineer Rick Gaul will present the LPA Agreement for the Greenway Trail, a change order time extension for the Safe Routes to School Project, and permission to work in the right-of-way for Century Link and Earthcom.

The Board of Works also has several request: a daytime parking pass request for Thayer Construction, Unity Walk request by Jim Smart, Closure of Garro Street for the tree lighting and lighted Christmas Parade by Laura Mann and a continuation on the request of VanVactors to amend the TechFarm Land Sales Agreement.

The Plymouth Common Council will consider on first reading the ordinances to increase water rates by 12% and sewer rates by 10% in January and September 2018 and in March 2019.

The Council also will consider the first step in the tax abatement process for the River Gate South residential project.

The City meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
