Washington beats Glenn
WALKERTON – John Glenn boys soccer lost tonight’s match against South Bend Washington by a score of 7-2.
The match was a tale of two halves. The boys were chasing the ball for much of the first half and were down 2-0 at halftime.
The second half saw the boys playing more aggressive, had multiple offensive attacks, and kept Washington on their heels scoring two goals. However, Glenn couldn’t keep up the pressure and gave up a couple of late goals to Washington to put the game out of reach.
Glenn goals were scored by Samuel Thomas and Michael Day. Chase Merz had two assists.
