MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Ancilla’s Chargers saw a four run lead evaporate and turn to a loss 12-7 to Penn State Dubois.
The Chargers took a four run lead into the fourth behind a strong outing from starter Everett Krueger who left with one out in the fourth. Still leading by two in the sixth, four Ancilla errors led to four unearned runs that blew the game open for Dubois.
Will Rose was the hard luck loser for the Chargers going three innings in relief.
The Charger offense was led by Justin Segers who had a pair of home runs and four RBI’s as part of a three for three game at the plate. Caleb Mikesell led off the game with a solo homer of his own and added a three for four game with three RBI’s. Zach Norman also had a pair of hits in the game.
Ancilla is now 0-5.
