In another close game, the 6th grade boys A team lost to Walkerton 28 – 24.Turnovers were crucial down the stretch. Leading the A team in scoring was Nolan Bales with 10 points. Davis Wray added 8 for the Rockets, and Roman Snedeker, Trey Hall, and Easton Strain each added a basket for the rockets.
The Riverside B Team won in a landslide beating Walkerton’s B team 35 – 2. The B team had lots of steals and movement on the defensive end leading to their baskets. The B team was led in scoring by Landon Hall with 7 points. Michael Sheeley and Connor Schmiedlin both added 6. Brady Hoover added 4 points for the rockets, and Andrew Large, Shane Abberger, Josh Hansen, Noble Brockman, Fitz Holm, and Hunter Shephard all had 2 points as well.
The Riverside 6th Grade Boys team will be in action again at home on Monday the 14th of November at 5pm.
