The Plymouth Police Department participated in the most recent Operation Pull Over Blitz which focused on impaired driving. The enforcement period ran from August 12th through September 5th. Seven city officers volunteered to work additional hours focused on patrolling for impaired drivers. At the conclusion of the enforcement period, the seven officers conducted twenty-one impaired driving patrols which yielded in one hundred forty-five traffic arrests. The traffic arrests included a seat belt violation, several suspended drivers, some equipment violations, and one alcohol related arrest. The remaining arrests were for various other traffic offenses.
