The 8 th Grade Lincoln Red Storm football team lost to Warsaw Lakeview last night at the
Rockpile. In the first half, Lincoln’s defense held strong and allowed only eight points in the first
half. Lincoln’s offense had a few big plays but would lose momentum and the ball due to
multiple fumbles. Lincoln’s defense lost their stronghold in the second half and let Lakeview
into the end zone twice in the third quarter. The Red Storm fought back in the 4 th quarter when
Devante Garcia broke free for a big 15 yard run to take them down the field. Daniel Bacon
followed up with a ten yard touchdown pass to Jaret Brown to keep from getting shut out.
Final score Lincoln 6, Lakeview 33. The 8 th Grade Red Storm finished their injury plagued season
1 and 7.
