The PHS Cross Country Team will be hosting a fundraising 5K run/walk for Alex Rostron.
On May 1st the PHS senior was involved in a car accident and was hospitalized for two months. Since the crash he has been making a great recovery and has been able to return to school and the best thing of all, he can continue to run on the cross country team.
On August 20th at 10 a.m. at the Plymouth High School the 5K run/walk will start. Entry fee for the run/walk is $20 for adults and $15 for students and includes a t-shirt. Registration will be in the Auxiliary gym with parking in the north lot.
Along with the run/walk will be a bake sale and Bruce’s Big Grill will be selling pulled pork sandwiches for $6. A hand-sewn quilt will be raffled off after the race with ticket selling at 3 for $2 or 10 for $5.
