Eric Keilman, Distribution System Foreman with the Plymouth Water Department has announced a change in the unidirectional flushing for Friday.
Due to the Ledyard Water Facility improvement project the Ledyard facility will periodically be out of service on Friday, June 10. This is do to the changing over from the old components to the new ones. It’s estimated the change-over should only take a few hours to complete. In doing so the water flushing crew will change course and flush from the Pine Road Water Facility out. This is to insure the best quality of drinking water for city customers.
Locations scheduled for water main flushing on Friday from the Pine Road Facility to Western Avenue include the following streets:Western Avenue,
Pioneer Dr, Pilgrim Ln, Oak Rd. Hoham Dr, Jim Neu Dr, and others in that general area.
