WSOI_Donnelly_GroupUS Senator Joe Donnelly spent Friday morning at the Weidner School of Inquiry at Plymouth High School where sophomore students discussed with him their current project for the Bicentennial on the history of agriculture in Marshall County.


WSOI_Donnelly_GirlsStudents are researching how agriculture has evolved in Marshall County since 1836 by interviewing 14 longtime farming families from throughout the county.  When their project is complete it will be on display at the Marshall County Museum.

WSOI_Donnelly_ChairSenator Donnelly participated in a question and answer session with a number of the students’ asking questions about the importance of agriculture in Marshall County and across the state.

WSOI_Donnelly_SecurityThe senator also had the opportunity to see the security system used by the school system.   He presented his driver’s license to Amy Maham when he entered the facility and was given a tag to wear during his visit.
