The Plymouth School Board approved stipends for certified and classified staff and administrators during Tuesday’s meeting.
Certified staff could receive $335.50 for professional development completed and an additional $575.93 for those rated highly effective or effective from evaluations. An additional $480.57 would come from a Performance grant.
The certified administration staff stipend will be $900 with Superintendent Tyree asking not to receive the stipend for himself.
Classified staff will be given stipends if they have met evaluation qualifications. A twelve month employee will receive $700 if working 40 hours per week. Those working less than 12 months at 30-40 hours per week will receive $500, while those working 20-29 hours per week will get $400. Employees working less than 12 months at 19 hours or less per week would be given a stipend of $300.
