City HallThe Marshall County Council meets Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

First order of business is the reorganization of the board since President Matt Hassel resigned his position.  Acting president is Don Morrison.  The council waited to reorganize until Hassel’s replacement was selected.  Heath Thornton was elected by caucus last month and this will be his first council meeting.

The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings tonight beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.  The agenda includes opening requests for proposals for LARE Grant bank stabilization program of the Yellow River along the Greenway Trail I Centennial Park.  The will also open quotes for the city’s crack seal project.

Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will update the Board of Works members on division two and three projects.

Mr. Kozuch will approach the Board of Public Works and Safety seeking a quiet zone regarding the railroad running parallel to the Pennsylvania Avenue and Mr. Green will seek approval for a temporary block of the sidewalk with a dumpster.

The Plymouth City Council will accept donations, amend the 2016 salary ordinance addressing the fire department work schedule.  Other agenda items include consideration of three resolutions.

The City meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items.
