Bremen_police_black and whiteBremen Police Chief Matt Hassel released the department’s activity report for September 18th through the 24th.

Bremen officers issues 53 traffic warnings and 16 traffic citations.  They also responded to a property damage accident on Sept. 22nd at 224 West Plymouth Street.

During the reporting period Bremen Police arrested Julian Valadez of Bremen on September 18th for Operator Never Licensed and Rogelio Alonz of Goshen for Driving While Suspended with a prior and Operating Without Financial Responsibility on Sept. 20th.   Also arrested on the 20th was Sherri Armstead of Walkerton for Possession of Marijuana and paraphernalia and on the 21st, Jaqueline Dominguez of Warsaw for Driving While Suspended with a prior charge, Altered Interim Plate, False Informing and No Insurance.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless guilty.

The Bremen Fire Department had three calls from September 18th through the 24th.   On the 19th they responded to a call of smoke in a building behind the BP Gas station on North Street.  There was also a general fire alarm on the 20th at 515 South Whitlock and on the 24th to a fence fire near a house at 918 West Bike Street.
