An apparent intoxicated driver was arrested early Saturday morning after striking two trailers at Shell Manufacturing at 502 Old US 30 east of Bourbon.
Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger was dispatched to Shell Manufacturing just after 5 Saturday morning for a one vehicle accident. The driver, 21 year old David D. Johnson II of Warsaw was found to be intoxicated. He was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment of minor injuries. After being released he was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked in being almost three times over the legal limit.
Johnson was booked in for Operating While Intoxicated and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Assisting at the scene was Marshall County Officer Tony Bragg.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
