Monday evening Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin released the name of the man killed in the car / pedestrian crash early Sunday morning. 57 year old Michael Keller of North Judson died about 1:30 on South Dawn Drive in North Judson. An autopsy is scheduled for this morning in Kokomo.
Investigators have recovered the vehicle that was involved in the incident and the Indiana State Police Crime Scene technicians are processing the vehicle.
Investigators have interviewed several persons of interest in this case and one arrest had been made so far, however investigators are still searching for the driver of the vehicle involved in this homicide. 24 year old Oscar Martinez of Logansport is being held on a preliminary charge of interfering with the reporting of a crime and interfering with an investigation.
