Crash_Muckshaw RoadThe Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two vehicle crash Saturday evening about 5:45 in the 11,000 block of Muckshaw Road.

Crash_Muckshaw Road_1County Police Officer Matt Brown investigated that accident that sent two to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by ambulance.

Crash_Muckshaw Road_2According to his report 20 year old Katelyn Lowry of Plymouth was north bound on Muckshaw Road in a 2006 Pontiac G6.  She was passing a vehicle and completely in the southbound lane when she struck a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 52 year old William Snyder of Argos.  The impact of the crash sent the motorcycle off the east side of the roadway and the two occupants were thrown from the vehicle.    The motorcycle came to rest in a grassy field owned by the Emenakers.

Crash_muckshaw Road_3The driver and passenger of the motorcycle remained conscious and were able to provide information.  They were cared for at the scene by Plymouth Fire and EMS and transported to Memorial Hospital by ambulance because the helicopter couldn’t fly due to weather conditions.

Crash_Muckshaw Road_4Officer Brown hasn’t totally finished the crash report and the name of the female on the motorcycle has not been released by police at this time.
