Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will seek additional road funding from the Marshall County Council during Thursday’s meeting.

The County Council’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.  The meeting is open to the public and streamed live through YouTube.

Purdue Extension Marshall County will give a quarterly report and the council will consider the additional appropriation requests totaling nearly $165,000.

Also on the agenda is a report from the Job Classification and Compensation Subcommittee with an addendum to the Salary Ordinance.  The council’s Budget and Finance Committee will also have a report along with the Public Safety Subcommittee.

County Council members are also expected to approve pay requests from Lebbin Law and Cender Dalton.

The Council also offers two public input opportunities, one at the beginning of the meeting for agenda items only and a second opportunity at the end of the meeting with no restrictions on topics.
