The Plymouth Fire Department has been busy the past few days.

On Friday, February 2nd firefighters responded at 3:12 in the afternoon to a structure fire at 328 Pennsylvania Avenue. 

This fire is still under investigation in the multi-family residence.  The fire was contained to an upstairs bedroom. 

Fire Chief Steve Holm said the fire was extinguished in about 5 minutes.  One person was taken to the hospital with burns although the chief was unsure of the extent of her injuries. 

Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.

Firefighters responded to Red D Mart at the corner of Michigan and Jefferson Street Monday morning at 2:07.  The fire was a grease fire and Assistant Chief Chuy Garcia said most of it was contained in the kitchen area.

Firefighters were on the scene for about 90 minutes. 

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 12:25 today at Kroger.  After crews responded a call was received that they were testing the fire alarm system.
