A 55-year-old North Carolina man was arrested on Tuesday, January 30th after Plymouth Police were dispatched for a domestic disturbance.

At about 6:30 Tuesday evening Officer Witkowski responded to 2952 Gary Drive for a domestic disturbance.  A female reported that her boyfriend had thrown chemicals in her eyes and pushed her out of the vehicle.   She said the boyfriend left the area heading eastbound on U.S. 30.

Plymouth Police later apprehended the boyfriend, Timothy Reaves, 55, of North Carolina at a traffic stop. He was arrested for domestic battery and transported to the Marshall County Jail for processing.  He was held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
