On Wednesday Sandra Dodson filed to run on the Republican ticket for Marshall County Treasurer. She has been working in the County Treasurer’s office since January 2023. She began her position as the Tax Deputy and is currently the 1st Deputy.

Sandra and her husband, Dirk, I live in Marshall County and have three children, Zack and Doug, who both graduated from Plymouth High School and Purdue University, and Rachael who graduated from Culver Academies and West Point Military and is now serving as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army.

Sandra Dodson has a background rooted in customer service with a strong passion for all aspects of business and finance. Her experience includes nine years in the central office as the Director of Administration for Plymouth Community School Corporation. While at Plymouth Schools she calculated and administered all of the teacher contracts and worked closely with the Business Manager on all aspects of finance.

Sandy Dodson worked in the Marshall County Auditor’s Office as a Property Record Deputy, Claims Deputy, and Settlement Deputy.  

She also worked in the County Assessor’s office.

My current position in the Treasurer’s office has furthered my knowledge of taxation and finance.
