Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department arrested two individuals on two separate cases on Sunday, November 19th

At about 1:20 Sunday morning Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on U.S. 30 in the westbound lanes. The driver was identified as 51-year-old Troy Winandy of Indianapolis. It was determined during the investigation that he had a warrant out of Newton County for Reckless Driving. Troy was taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail.  He was booked in for Reckless driving and held with no bond for the warrant from Newton County.

 

Sunday evening at 10:13 Officer Fisher conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the area of Michigan and Laporte Streets. The driver was identified as Jorge Terrones, 37, of East Lake Avenue in Plymouth.  During the investigation, it was determined that Jorge was suspended prior. He was taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail and booked for Driving While Suspend with a prior charge within 10 years. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
