On Thursday, November 9th the Marshall County Council passed a resolution of support for Israel and presented by Adam Faulstich.
Faulstich said he wanted to counteract some of the protests going on across the country by asking the County Council to approve a resolution of support for Israel.
Council President Jesse Bohannon read the resolution that said:
Let it be known on this day, the 9th of November 2023, that the Marshall County Council sends its sincere condolences to the Nation of Israel and its people for the tragic loss of life that occurred on the 7th of October 2023 by the unprovoked attack carried out by the terrorist organization known as Hamas. Furthermore, we would like it to be recognized that we stand with the Nation of Israel and its people in their right to exist and live in their historic homeland as a sovereign nation, including the right, as a sovereign nation, to protect their country and people from harm.”
The Marshall County Council unanimously passed the resolution.
