The Burn Ban enacted by the Marshall County Commissioners remains in place.
Marshall County Emergency Management Director, Jack Garner said Friday morning, “Because the rain amount this morning fell below expectations, the Marshall County Commissioners have opted to NOT lift the burn ban at this moment.”
The County Commissioners and Emergency Management will continue reassessing the need for the Burn Ban and update the media when they feel it is safe to lift the ban.
The EMA Director said the next chance for rain will be Monday and Tuesday with the possibility of snow on Wednesday.
