While deputies were investigating the matter, the mother, identified as April D. Campbell, 39, of Warsaw returned to the scene.
During an interview with April, officers determined that she was intoxicated while operating her vehicle and she had her 6-year-old son in it as well.
April Campbell was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated – Endangering, Operating While Intoxicated – at or above 0.15%, and Neglect of a Dependent. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
