Marshall County Sheriff Deputies stopped a silver 2017 Lexus heading westbound on U.S. 30 over Michigan Road for speeding last Tuesday, November 7th at 5:30 in the morning.

The driver, 45-year-old Brian D. Johnson of Dalton, IL provided the wrong name to deputies in an attempt to hide his full extradition warrant issued by the U.S. Marshall Service.

The female passenger in the vehicle, 34-year-old Hannah M Meekins of West Warren, MA also lied to police about Mr. Johnson’s true identity.

Both individuals were taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for False Informing.  Mr. Johnson was also booked for Driver Never Licensed and the extradition warrant.  He was held on a $500 cash bond for the new charges and with NO BOND for the extradition warrant.

Lyons Towing of Plymouth recovered the vehicle they were in.
