The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council meet tonight at 6 p.m. on the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall.  The meeting is open to the public and streamed on the city’s website at www.plymouthin.com.

The agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting includes reports from the various city department heads, a request from the Plymouth Public Library to relocate the curbside pick-up spaces, a request from R. Yoder Construction to close a street, and a request from St. Michael Catholic Church to hold a Holy Procession Walk using city sidewalks and street crossings.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 and includes the third and final reading of an ordinance amending the fee schedule for the city’s Aviation Department. 

Other agenda items include consideration of an intergovernmental agreement between Marshall County and the City of Plymouth for building inspection services.  The council will conduct a discussion on customer utility accounts. 

The council will hear on first reading an ordinance to amend the city code provisions for the community ambulance service and there is a resolution authorizing the investment of public funds.  Council members will also get an update on Stellar Communities and the comprehensive plan.

Those attending the city meetings should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the Council Chambers on the second floor.
