On Thursday, November 9, at approximately o’clock in the morning, Deputy James Dulin with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of River Drive and Maple Lane, in Fulton County, on a vehicle for a traffic infraction.

During the stop, Deputy Dulin used his K9 partner, Agi, to conduct a free air search outside of the vehicle.  Agi indicated the possible presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.  Deputy Dulin performed a search of the vehicle and located a large amount of a white crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine with a presumptive weight of 21.4 grams.

Jason Poor, 48, of Plymouth, was arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance as a Level 4 Felony.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
