The Marshall County Council meets tonight at 6 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room in the County Building. The meeting is open to the public.
The agenda for the meeting includes Marshall Superior Court II Judge Dean Colvin who is seeking support for an additional appropriation and Harold Diedrich from the Master Gardeners Association will address the council on Purdue Extension services.
The council will consider an ordinance to establish new funds for Community Corrections, approve the ordinance setting salaries for 2024, and adopt an ordinance for job classification and compensation maintenance plan procedures along with an ordinance adopting job descriptions.
Also on the County Council’s agenda are Additional and Transfer Appropriations, making an appointment to the Culver-Union Township Public Library, approval of the minutes, and a chance for public input.
