Whether you love it or hate it, it’s time for the semi-annual time change.

If you don’t want to be late for church on Sunday, you’d better turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday.

The official switch, part of the Daylight-Saving Time program, takes place at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 5th.

For those of you who get confused about which way to move your clocks, forward or backward…the trick to remembering which way to turn the clock in the fall or spring is “fall back” and “spring forward.”

So, before you jump into bed Saturday night, reset your clock.

Local fire departments also recommend changing the batteries in your smoke detectors while you’re changing the clocks. It’s a good way to remember both.
