A 19-year-old Fort Wayne man was arrested by Plymouth Police on Saturday, October 28th following a traffic stop.

At about 1:20 Saturday morning Officer Schieber conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive. During the traffic stop, the officer identified the driver as Oscar Matias.
A second suspicious vehicle pulled up during the traffic stop, then left and returned a second time. The driver of the second vehicle was identified as Ronald Pivaral-Cruz, 26, of Ft. Wayne.
It was determined that both Oscar and Ronald were operating without ever receiving a driver’s license. Both Oscar and Ronald were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for pending criminal charges of Operator Never Licensed.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
