On Saturday, October 28th at approximately 11:00 p.m., Plymouth Police responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 2405 North Michigan Street about a theft that had occurred.

During the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified as 47-year-old Tracy L. Napierkowski. Napierkowski was located at the Economy Inn and taken into custody.

Suspected drugs were found within Napierkowski’s belongings before being transported to Marshall County Jail.

Tracy was booked into the Marshall County Jail with pending criminal charges of Theft, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Legend Drug.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
