Halloween is Tuesday, October 31st, and all of the communities in Marshall County are hosting the traditional trick-or-treating on the actual day.

Trick-or-treaters will be going throughout the neighborhoods in Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Culver, LaPaz, and Plymouth from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. looking for treats from households.  Those who want to hand out treats should turn on their porch lights to allow the little ghosts and goblins to stop by.

Discover Plymouth is hosting Trunk or Treat in River Park Square from 3 to 5 p.m. this Saturday with more than 30 trunks to treat from.

The Swan Lake Resort on Plymouth/LaPorte Trail is hosting its 3rd annual Trick or Treat Trail on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  They have about 30 businesses participating with them to hand out treats to all the kids and at 6:30 there’s a kid’s costume contest with trophies for the top three costumes.   This event includes FREE hayrides and fireworks at about 7 p.m.

Church of the Heartland at 705 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth will hold its annual Trunk or Treat and Harvest Party this Sunday, October 29th beginning at 3 p.m.   They will have candy for trick-or-treating, hayrides, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and fall family pictures.  Everyone is welcome.
