Two Plymouth men were arrested by city police on Sunday, October 8th following a call of a domestic disturbance on Monroe Street.
Just before 6 a.m. Officer Fisher was dispatched to the 1,000 block of West Monroe Street. Locating two male subjects an investigation was initiated. Following the investigation, two individuals were arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Domestic Disturbance.

Alixon Rivera-Ruiz, 25 of Jackson Heights in Plymouth, and Allan Raudales-Zuniga, 34 of West Monroe Street in Plymouth were arrested for Battery and Strangulation. Both males were transported to Marshall County Jail and booked in for Battery, and Strangulation and held on $1,500 cash bonds.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
