On Friday, October 6th, at approximately 10:45 at night, Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2008 Ford passenger car in the area of Michigan Road and Airport Road.
During his investigation, the registered owner and driver, 27-year-old William Pena of South Jackson Street in Plymouth, was found to be operating with a driving status of suspended – prior.
Pena was taken to the Marshall County Jail and processed for Driving While Suspended with a prior. He was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
