On Monday, October 2, at approximately 6:45 in the evening Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Economy Inn at 2535 North Michigan Street for a male who was trying to start a fight with other patrons.

46-year-old Ryan Rudd of Coffel Drive in Bremen was found to be the instigator and continued to cause a scene after city officers arrived.

Rudd was also found to be intoxicated by alcohol. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication and held on a $250 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
