Monday afternoon, Marshall County Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on King Road.
Deputy Prater was the investigating officer and reported that 20-year-old Bryce R. Bachtel was traveling north on King Road in a 2006 GMC Sierra. He was behind a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by 56-year-old Susan Bennett.
Bennett was slowing to turn east onto Plymouth Goshen Trail and Bachtel did not see her slowing and rear-ended the motorcycle.
Susan Bennett was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by LaPaz Fire and EMS.
