The Plymouth Community School Corporation will conduct its regular board meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the administration board room.
The agenda includes a public hearing for the consideration of an additional appropriation of $1,275,000 for Capital Outlays. Following the public hearing, the school board is expected to adopt a resolution for the additional appropriation.

The school board will consider the request of Jodi Kallenberg to take 60 to 75 students to Los Angeles, CA October 2024 for 5 days. Students will experience a recording session and workshop at Disney, attend a workshop at the Grammy Museum with recording technicians, attend the LA Philharmonic Center at Disney Hall, and tour Disney Hall along with a trip to the Pacific Ocean, a hike to the Griffith Observatory and a tour a Paramount Studio.
There are also requests from the PHS Speech and Debate Teams for overnight travel to a tournament in Glenbrook, IL, the state tournament in Kokomo, a tournament in Fishers, the Catholic National Speech and Debate Tournament in Chicago, and the National Forensic League National Speech and Debate Tournament in Des Moines Iowa.
Katie Duran, Craig Hoppel, and Phillis Gault will report on the Alternative School, members will hear a report on PHS Mathematics, and Principal Ken Olson will present new proposed courses for the 24-25 school year.
The Plymouth School Board will consider an agreement with Michiana Behavioral Health Care, receive the 2023-24 enrollment report, and consider the VSP vision care renewal plan. Also on the agenda is the adoption of the 2024 budget, adoption of the 2024 Capital Projects Plan, and the Bus Replacement Plan.
The Plymouth School Board meetings are open to the public, streamed live on the corporation’s website, and allow time for public participation.
