Falloween is the John Glenn High School fundraiser that supports student scholarships, school organizations, clubs, and athletics along with area church groups, and civic organizations. To date, over $550,000 has been raised for student scholarships. Over 370 John Glenn students have been awarded scholarships.
Falloween opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday and activities remain open until 10 p.m. Kids can enjoy the rides starting at 11:30 and the John Glenn Athletic Department is hosting hamburgers, brats, and nachos on the midway from noon till 8 p.m. The Walkerton United Pentecostal Church is hosting a puppet laser show at 12:30 in the high school auditorium and local favorite, Sentimental Journey takes the stage in the entertainment tent at 1 p.m.
Other offerings on Saturday include a magic show and escape stunts at 1:30, Bingo in the high school from 2 to 4, Voices of Freedom in the entertainment tent at 3, and the Tyner IOOF fish fry starting at 4 p.m. The band Spittin’ Image will perform in the entertainment tent at 4:45 and at 7:45 Stolen Horses takes the stage.
Don’t forget the spectacular fireworks show sponsored by R&B Car Company at 9:45 and of course, great food and drinks all day long.
Falloween continues on Sunday, October 1st, and opens at 8 a.m. and will be open until 6 p.m.
