Officer Prater with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a crash at the intersection of King and 7th Roads on Tuesday, September 26th at about 1:15 in the afternoon.
Marshall County Central Dispatch received a report of a car/motorcycle collision with injuries and dispatched Officer Prater to the scene.
While investigating the accident scene, county officers learned that a red 2016 Ford Escape driven by 73-year-old Colleen Forsythe of Bremen was turning north onto King Road from 7th Road and failed to yield the right of way to a southbound motorcycle.
69-year-old Kevin McIntyre of Bremen was driving a 1986 Honda Goldwing and collided with the Ford Escape. McIntyre was transported to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head and his leg.
LaPaz Fire and Reichert and Knepp Towing assisted at the scene of the collision.
