Plymouth Police and EMS were dispatched to the 2535 North Michigan Street, the Economy Inn last Friday, September 22nd just before 1 p.m. for a female who had collapsed and was possibly not breathing. She was identified as 29-year-old Kathryn T. Stafford with a booking address in California.
During the police investigation in room 131, numerous used and uncapped syringes were located along with some that were still loaded with a dark liquid substance.

During the investigation, it was learned that 49-year-old Christopher Markkula also with a California address was in the room with Kathryn and both had outstanding warrants out of Ohio for the possession of Fentanyl.

Christopher and Kathryn were incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail and they will be extradited to Ohio for the felony charges while local charges here have been submitted.
