25-year-old Westin Bush-Berdine of Union Road in Culver was arrested by an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, September 21st.

At approximately 11:30 PM Sheriff’s Deputies conducted an investigation in the 14000 block of Union Road. After doing so, deputies located Westin Bush-Berdine at his residence where he was found in violation of a protection order.

Westin was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Invasion of Privacy as a Class A Misdemeanor and held on a $500 cash bond. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
